The Chen.quest.ion blog was intended to be of interest to people who are interested in Chen taijiquan, a martial arts style that I first became aware of at the dawn of the 21st century.

To prevent any wasted time or misunderstandings, please note this DISCLAIMER: I never had a Chen Style class; I recently joined a Yang Style class to get some qualified taiji instruction; my other martial arts instruction has been quite limited.  But for a number of years now I’ve worked hard to incorporate taiji principles into my health and work activities. I also worked on Chen forms and eventually put together a simplified 24-form routine for my practice.

After I decided to join the local Yang style class, I soon quit doing Chen movements (or what I hoped were Chen movements) and dedicated myself to learning the Yang way of taijiquan (or what I hope, yadda yadda yadda).  Read my first couple of posts if you can’t decide whether I was delusional; check out my Mark II blog, Taiji.quest.ion, to see if I am currently delusional.  Thanks and God bless.
